Whether you are an experienced driver or a motoring enthusiast, ‘Dune Rally Tunisia’ offers you the opportunity to connect with people who share your passion for extreme adventure. Exchange stories, cultivate new friendships and create lasting memories together with a unique and vibrant community. The ‘Dune Rally Tunisia’ changes its name but the well-established Adventure Riding organising team remains, with the 40-year experience of Renato Zocchi and Alessandro Botturi, a multiple African enduro and rally champion, who needs no introduction; he will still be the one to study the route and create the very detailed road book.
The mission of the ‘Dune Rally Tunisia’ is to allow enthusiasts to face the desert in complete safety by experiencing a unique and often inaccessible experience for those who do not want to measure themselves against a stopwatch and therefore in a race. The approach is that of a Gentleman-race with the use of modern and advanced navigation tools: paper or digital road book, Stella navigation tool for the competitive classes and on request for the sidebyside and Experience cars, GPS navigator for all tourist classes that can follow an expert guide on request.
The organisation has the proven medical service of Dr. Anis and recovery vehicles for drivers and vehicles.
DATE AND ROUTE
In Tunisia: Djerba – Douz – Djerba, from 24 to 28 February 2025 with departure and arrival in Djerba, 5 stages of which a first stage called ‘Warm-up’, short but important to get familiar with the desert and with the use of the road book and the Stella or GPS navigator and then off for 4 days in an alternation of fast tracks, sandy tracks and the immense expanses of dunes of the Sahara desert. Departures and arrivals in 4-star hotels in Djerba, Matmata and Douz and an unforgettable night at the Zmela Camp in the heart of the desert.

Registration includes
5 nights half-board in a hotel in a shared double room (drinks not included)
- 1 half-board night in a shared double or triple tented camp (drinks not included)
- Luggage transport from start to finish of stage
- Participation fee for the Tunisian Car and Motorcycle Federation
- Insurance Experience classes: Travel Protection of Europe Assistance or equivalent for foreign drivers EEC area (Only for Experience classes)
- Rally class insurance: basic insurance not including repatriation taken out with ‘Assistance Star’ Tunisian. IMPORTANT to read carefully the specifications of the ‘Assistance Star’ insurance in the regulations. We recommend supplementary insurance to be taken out by the participant.
- Road book or GPX track of the route
Medical service at the starting points and stage finishes, as well as along the route (2 Jeeps 4 x 4 with doctor and 1 support road ambulance with doctor and paramedic)
Vehicle recovery service along the route to the stage finish with 4 x 4 vehicles.
The transport of the person and the vehicle to the arrival point of the other stages, to the port or other location, will be fully borne by the participantProvision of refuelling points along the route (fuel at participant's charge)

Registration does not includes

– Hire of Stella equipment and purchase of special mounts (compulsory for Rally classes)
– Tracker rental (compulsory for Experience class)
– Anything not covered by ‘entry includes’.
Cancellations and refunds
By 31 January 2025, the entire entry fee will be refunded with a 15% deduction.
Beyond this date, nothing will be refunded.

The organisation, directly and through affiliated agencies, offers a complete service to participants in an attempt to simplify all operations: ship and flight bookings.

Motorbike and spare parts transport services are available from Italy to the starting point of the ‘Dune Rally Tunisia’ in Djerba and back, as well as mechanical assistance services during the rally.
