THE SPIRIT OF THE EVENT
The growing success of the “Swank Rally di Sardegna” in late September and that of the experimental edition of the “Swank Rally in Tunisia” 2023 in April led us to an important decision: the second edition of the “Swank Rally in Tunisia”. But that’s not all, with the confirmation also comes great news: not only motorcycles but finally also the opportunity to participate in the Experience (tourist) category, for Sidebyside and cars.
In addition to the well-established organizing team of Adventure Riding and Deus, and Renato Zocchi’s 40 years of experience, in 2024 will also back Alessandro Botturi, world, enduro and rally, champion, who needs no introduction, ready to joining the team for this new adventure that will develop in one of his favorite spaces: in the middle of the desert. Road book and track will be created and prepared from him.
The purpose of the “Swank Rally in Tunisia” is to allow to enthusiasts and racing fans to face the desert in complete safety by experiencing a unique, and often, inaccessible experience for those who don’t like the limits and the crono. The real approach will be the same of a Gentleman-race (self-timed special stages) through the use of modern and advanced navigation tools: road book and Stella equipment for competitive motorbikes classes and, on request, for Sidebyside and Experience cars, GPS navigator for tourist classes.
The organization will have an expert overland medical assistance and vehicle recovery service every day from the start to the end of the stage.
WHERE, HOW AND WHEN?
Tunisia, Douz – Douz, from 26 February to 1 March – 5 stages of which the first stage, called the “Warm-up", is short but important to get familiar with the desert and with the use of the road book and the Stella or GPS navigator. Immediately among the dunes of the Sahara desert in the 2nd stage, with arrival and bivouac at the splendid Zmela tented camp. Stage 3, a great mix of dunes and fast tracks until we reach Matmata, famous for having hosted the filming of Star Wars, where the briefing will be held in the underground bar built for the shooting of the film. Stage 4 will take us back to Douz, initially along a very technical and fast track chasing numerous way points and then back through the dunes to the Camellodrome, where a second short special stage of the day will be held in Swank style. Grand finale with the 5th stage of the Chott el Jerid where on salt lakes and very fast tracks we will experience the thrill of speed until we return to the hotel where the prize-giving ceremony of the rally will take place.

- Travel Protection insurance from Europe Assistance or equivalent for foreign pilots from the EEC area (Experience group only)
- Road book or GPX track of the route
- Medical service at the start points and stage finishes, as well as along the route (two 4WD Jeeps with Doctor and 1 support road ambulance with doctor and and paramedical staff)
Vehicle recovery service along the route to the stage arrival point with 4WD vehicles.
Transportation of the person and bike from the stage arrival to the port or other location, will be fully borne by the participan

Waivers and Refunds
By 31 January 2024, the entire entry fee will be refunded with a 15% deduction.
Beyond that date, nothing more will be refunded.

SHIP AND/OR AIR TRAVEL BOOKING SERVICE
The organization, directly and through contracted agencies, offers a complete service to participants to try to simplify all logistic operations: ship reservations and flights.
The service has been entrusted to the Shaula Viaggi agency, which will offer the trips at prices agreed upon with the Grandi Navi Veloci (GNV) company and the main airlines.
