“Sardegna Gran Tour" is a 3-stage “Adventouring" tourist sports event, which takes place on a choice of 2 types of route: one 70% off-road and 30% asphalt and one totally on asphalt, through enchanting places and breathtaking scenery among the sea, mountains and natural parks of Sardinia.

3 categories, to be chosen by participants: On/Off Adventouring, On/Off Way Point Trophy and Road.

The meeting and embarkation for Sardinia are scheduled in Genoa and after disembarking in Porto Torres, the 1st stage will start, which will cross the island from coast to coast until reaching Porto San Paolo, the stage venue for the following days. The initial section will be very driven with tight tracks between low walls, while the second part will be on fast tracks and breathtaking views.

The second leg is a loop with a great variety of terrain and the crossing of the most beautiful protected areas of northern Sardinia, such as Monte Olia, the legendary wind turbines of Alà dei Sardi and Buddusò, and the Monte Pino park. The stage back to Porto Torres will be the most technical of the Grand Tour. The stage starts in Olbia on winding roads with hard ground covered with sand on which to test one's technical skills and then continues along a disused railway track to the north centre of the island, where one will ride along mountainous stretches with beautiful views, until descending to Castelsardo with the sea in the background, until the arrival at the edge of the sea above the beach of Marina di Sorso. The refreshments provided in the middle of the stages in very special locations with cuisine will seal the memory of this splendid journey.

For both the Adventouring and Way Point Trophy categories, all persons, including passengers, registered with an Italian motorbike club, in possession of the FMI membership card for the current year and in possession of a valid driving licence for the registered motorbike are admitted.
